Inline solution for mounting steel clips to a plastic product. This Assembly Cell replaces the manual fitting of fastening clips. The assembly cell is placed next to the injection moulding machine where the take-out robot presents the plastic products to the assembly station. The clips are supplied in bulk and provided by a Flex Feeder system. Next, the clip is placed in the assembly station by a Denso Scara robot.
After assembly, the product is checked to ensure it is complete and correctly assembled. This check is done by means of laser distance sensors.
After assembly, the product is submitted to be packaged. Any rejects are logged and separated from the approved products.
